This year (2018) our Family Verse

All scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.

That the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (ESV)

This letter was written by Paul to Timothy. The scriptures in view here are the Old Testament. That is what the Jewish family of Timothy, Lois, and Eunice knew, believed, and loved. But there are really good reasons for treating the New Testament as having the same God-breathed authority too.

Scripture is written inspired by God. For what we have learned and believed, we stay strong and firmly into it.

We have access to knowledge that is unshakeably true and infinitely valuable

So therefore, It’s the one way ticket for righteousness. To teach us, correct what we have done wrong, take a step back and our from our wronged track and pointed to the right way, and an ever continuously practicing what we have learned from Bible to grow in righteousness.

In the hands of Holy Spirit, has the power to make us the kind of people who can discern and do the good that need to be done.

“Equipped for every good work.” Transformed, empowered, enabled, to do the good that needs to be done.

The God-breathed Bible aims to make us godly — to make us doers of good in this world — don’t miss that!

The doctrines of the Bible are designed to produces deeds — good deeds. And they do it by teaching, and that teaching has three sequential effects.: reproof, correction, and training in righteousness.

If the Scripture is the key to equipping you for that godliness, then are you giving as much care to the godliness of your life as you are to the physical health of your life?.

Feeding your self and other should be a joyful task.

Have an inspired journey in the hand of God’s book!
